27 little fluffers saved! Foster Homes needed soon!
In the past month, we've saved 27 little fluffers! Five from a breeder in North Texas, three from a breeder in Oklahoma City and NINE from a puppymill in Louisiana and the rest from our local shelters.
Believe it or not, the majority of these dogs are under four years old.

And there are more - Edge Galvez, a pretty sweet boy who had an orthopedic surgery gone wrong, a cute hairless pup with sarcoptic mange, and I'm scheduled to pick up two beautiful lhasas today from BARC.
As you can see, we've been very busy bees. And, we are strangling on dogs with not enough foster homes. Thankfully, Loree Levy-Schwartz was able to take 14 of these dogs.
The trip west started yesterday. One of my employees at Deogi volunteered for the extremely long drive. Here is the photo story of the trip.
That left 13 for us.
WE NEED FOSTER HOMES. These dogs have 2-3 weeks before they can be vetted and then we need a place for them to live. If you are interested in fostering, please email me at teresa@shihtzu-rescue.com. We also will be doing a transport to the west about every two months, so need foster homes from Houston to Phoenix!!
