Mae gets her daily fluids
To fight this nasty MRSA, Little Mae is getting a daily injection of amikacin, the only antibiotic that her super bug seems to be sensitive to. Unfortunately, this drug can also damage the kidneys, so to help her body deal with that, we give her fluids daily. She actually doesn't mind much now - she just sits on a lap getting pets for about 10 minutes. This is one of my staff from Deogi helping Mae with her fluids.
